I0418M.KUTTROLF.M Extremely rare and important early Kuttrolf, swan neck, bulbous body. Perfect condition, amazing survivor for this type of item. Dark aqua glass, full surface gloss, light bubbling, added wide foot withblowpipe pontil, slightly ground down, pear shaped body with delicate swan neck going into well formed and highly worked almost erotic mouth, with added stringrim strengthening and supporting, various crimping and careful modelling. Various literature describes this particular shape as 17 or 18th century, though my belief this is an early 18th example. Totally rare and highly sought after museum piece. A once in a lifetime opportunity....11 1/4
