E1216A.1702PEWTCHARGE.M    Superb, pewter charger dated 1702 at base inside bowl edge, attractively and naively worked with rolled scribing and hammer punched patterns, in general shape of heart with intertwined initials “SMAR” (?) inside, with florate edging, further smaller heart within bottom point, and general flower petal and crocus shape patterns between. Rolled back outside lip and touch marks of rampant lion on scalloped edge shield, and crown with initials “AP” within head band all above arrow shaped hammer head type element. Yet to be attributed. 1.25” split on left side bowl edge stopping short of edge, and anular split running around just inside bowl  base, resoldered, to perhaps approx 1/4 of circumference, not particularly noticeable from front. Rare, early, attractively naive and desirable piece of.

I0429.IRIDMALLET.M   Attractive characterful English mallet c1730, particularly crudely shaped, covered in magnificent coloured iridescence all over. Ultra deep kickup, sand pontil, wobbly base, rounded base edges, tapered rounded sides, rounded sloped and flattened shoulders into short tapering striated neck going into single downtooled stringrim disk at lip edge. 1/2

I0508.1680TRANSCR.M   cr/ir     Attractive c1680+ lightly vitrified shaft & globe/onion transitional, surface gloss, black glass (dark olive green) deep kickup, rounded dumpy body with flattening shoulders going into wide based conical tapering striated neck going through saturn disk stringrim well below everting sheared off, refired lip. Chip to edge of lip, stable crack running around and across 3 ways of base into body up side and curled around low shoulder, difficult to see because of attractive vitrification, and displays excellently on the shelf. Real age character and classic highly sought very  early form.

IO603M.AMBCATHVIN.TB    Excellent rare dark amber version of the cathedral vinegar c1870+, 2 piece mold, highly bubbled  full original surface gloss. This form is occasdionally found in dark cobalt blue and rare then, but particularly so in the amber. Deep kickup (almost looking pontilled) within outer base ring, straight sides with six arched panels, sloped shoulders with three reducing anullar reinforcing bands, to short swooping neck, finishing in applied conjoined downtooled stringrim and flat band lip. Rare original matching amber glass stopper, excellent  condition, rare and attractive food/utility bottle. 9 1/4
